Big Hugs Rainbow Circles

Hallo ihr Lieben!

Die Aufgabe der neuen Papercraft Challenge lautet "Sentiment as Focus". Während ich so durch meine Stanzen schaute, fiel mir dieser wunderschöne und riesige Schriftzug von "Neat & Tangled" in die Hände und mir war klar, dass dieser mein Fokus werden würde:

The task for the new Papercraft Challenge is to have a "Sentiment as Focus" on your project. While I was looking through my stash I found this awesome and huge sentiment die by "Neat & Tangled" and I knew it would be perfect for this challenge:

Mir stand der Sinn nach einem farbenfrohen Hintergrund, also habe ich die formatfüllende Spirale mit weiß auf ein Stück Aquarellpapier embosst und die Zwischenräume mit Zig-Markern in Regenbogenfarben coloriert. Nach dem Trocknen habe ich es zurechtgeschnitten und auf die Kartenbasis geklebt. Ein Tier darf auf meinen Karten eigentlich auch nie fehlen, also habe ich diesen süßen Hasen mit weit ausgebreiteten Armen gestempelt und mit Copics coloriert.

With all the grey in the sky I felt like creating something really bright and fun, so I stamped the huge spiral in Versamark and white heat embossed it on some watercolour paper. I coloured the space between the line in rainbow colours using Zig markers. After it had dried I cut the piece to size and glued it directly to my card base. And because I thought that there was a cute element missing still in my planning I decided to stamp and colour this cute, cute bunny with its arms streched out wide. Just as if it was ready to give the recipient the biggest hug in history ;o)

Das Sentiment habe ich insgesamt 4 Mal ausgestanzt: je 2 Mal aus weißen und schwarzem Papier. Die beiden weißen Lagen habe ich beim Zusammenkleben in die Mitte gepackt, weil ich finde, dass das dem Ganzen noch ein bisschen mehr Pfiff gibt. Das war's von mir für heute ;o) Ich hoffe, euch gefällt die Karte und ich konnte euch inspirieren auch ein Projekt mit dem Fokus auf dem Sentiment zu gestalten - und mit uns bei der Papercraft Challenge zu teilen ;o) Habt eine schöne Restwoche und happy crafting, eure Maike

I die cut the sentiment twice from white and also twice from black cardstock and glued them together with the white layers in the middle. That gives a nice little extra I find ;o) That was is for today my friends - I hope you like my card and that I could maybe inspire you to create a project with the sentiment as a focal point as well - and to share it with us at the Papercraft Challenge ;o) Have a wonderful week and happy craftng, yours Maike
