Good luck (Little goal-keeper)

Heute ist wieder Doppel-Dienstag, das heißt, ich teile jetzt eine Karte mit euch und später am Nachmittag habe ich dann noch einmal eine. Die Karte, die ihr hier schon seht, ist mein Inspirationsbeitrag für die aktuelle PINspirational Challenge und da dreht sich ab heute alles ums Thema "Fußball":

Heya my dear crafty friends!

Today is two-cards-tuesday which means that I am going to share one card with you now and the neyt one later tonight :o) The card you are seeing here already is my inspiration for the current PINspirational Challenge. From today on we would like to see your projects about football or maybe you would much rather be inspired by the beautiful colours of the picture? That's awesome, too ;o)

Meine Inspiration habe ich natürlich vom Thema Fußball genommen, aber auch die vielen Farben und die Kreisform wollte ich aufgreifen. Als ersten Schritt habe ich ein Papier für den  Hintergrund ausgestanzt, aus dem ich zusätzlich noch einen Kreis gestanzt habe und welches ich außerdem mit einem Muster geprägt habe, dass mich an das Netz im Tor erinnert hat. Danach habe ich einen runden Rahmen ausgestanzt, der etwas kleiner als die Öffnung ist und einen noch etwas kleineren Kreis, auf den ich ein Tor gestempelt habe und mit nicht nachge"ladenen" Blendingtools in den passenden Farben das Gras und den Himmel aufgewischt habe.

My inspiration came from the theme obviously but also from the circle form and the many different colours. My first step was to die cut a card panel, which I also die cut a circle from and dry embossed with a pattern that reminded me of the net in the goal. Next I die cut a circle frame that was slightly smaller than the opening, so that it would be able to move and another circle again smaller than the frame. On the latter I stamped a goal and added some grass and sky by simply going over it a few times with a (not re-inked) blending tool.

Auf den Kreisrahmen habe ich die acht verschieden farbigen Fußbälle aufgeklebt. Beim Zusammenbau der Karte habe ich bei der Hälfte der Bälle jeweils einen Kreis von hinten dagegengeklebt, so dass eine Art Führung entstand und die Bälle nicht nach vorne rausfallen konnten. Unter die anderen Bälle habe ich Abstandshalter von MFT geklebt, die für die richtige Höhe sorgen sollten. Bevor ich die Elemente aufkleben konnte, musste ich erst einmal einen Moment überlegen, damit sich die Bälle später auch drehen konnten und das Fußballtor auch am richtigen Platz war. Zum Schluss habe ich dann nur noch den niedlichen Torwart und den Spruch dazu geklebt und meine Karte war fertig ;o) Ich hoffe, sie gefällt euch. I adhered the eight footballs directly to the circle frame and then I started building my card. I had to think twice to make sure that the circle would be able to move, but it worked out just fine with the help of four circles glued behind the balls to stabilize them and also four Spin & Slide discs by MFT. After I had assembled everything I could add the cute little goal keeper and the sentiment as well. Die letzten Tage war es hier etwas ruhiger, als ich mir das gewünscht hätte, aber kaum, dass ich am Donnerstag zu Hause war und alles mögliche tun wollte (Freitag hatte ich natürlich frei...) spürte ich Gliederschmerzen aufziehen und kurze Zeit später gab es dann die volle Packung: Fieber, Hals-, Kopf- und Ohrenschmerzen und ich bin nur noch in mein Bett gekrabbelt. Daher kommt heute unser wunderbarer Adventskalender-Hop auch etwas zu spät online.... Bei all den schönen Dingen, die es zu bestaunen gibt, werdet ihr mir aber hoffentlich bald verzeihen ;o)))

Heya my dear crafty friends!
The last couple of days it has been a lot quieter on my blog than I had wanted it to be. When I came home from work on Thursday after noon I felt a bit of a muscle pain and soon after that I had a high temperature, a sore throat, a headache and felt so bad that I went to bed right then. This is why I am a little late with posting the wonderful Advent Calender Hop today... However, I am sure you'll find it in your heart to forgive me when you see all these wonderful packages and surprises along the way ;o)))

Hier seht ihr den mega-süßen Kalender, den ich von meiner lieben Bastelfreundin Chris bekommen habe. Hat sie sich damit nicht selbst übertroffen? Man findet immer wieder neue tolle Details und ich liebe es, dass der Kalender insgesamt so eine gigantische, durchgehende Szene darstellt! Absolut genial, vielen, vielen Dank liebe Chris, der Kalender ist wundervoll und ich liebe ihn!

This is the uber-sweet calender I got from my lovely craftyfriend Chris. Didn't she completely outdo herself with this? There are so many wonderful details and the images are just so very cute! I love the fact that it is one giant continuous scene! Thank you so, so much Chris, your calender is perfect and I love it!

Wir haben uns übrigens für einen sechsteiligen Kalender entschieden: ein Teil für jeden Adventssonntag plus je eines für Nikolaus und Weihnachten. Auf diese Weise bekommt man einiges an Überraschungen unter und es wird nicht zu Arbeit ;o) Hättet ihr Lust mit mir mein erstes Päckchen zu öffnen? (Pünktlich zum ersten Schnee in NRW übrigens...)

By the way, we decided to "only" create six things for the calender: one for each Advent Sunday, one for Saint Nicholas' Day and one for Christmas, so that it would still be fun to create it and not end up being work ;o)  Would you like to open the first box with me???

Chris hat mir nicht nur diese im doppelten Sinne süßen Schneemänner in die Box gelegt, sondern auch noch meine Lieblingshandcreme ;o) Wie auch immer sie das wissen konnte, aber jetzt habe ich noch eine, die immer mit mir mitkommen kann ;o) Vielen, vielen Dank liebe Chris! xx

Chris did not only put these cute and tasty snowmen in my first box, but also made sure the skin on my hands won't get too dry during the winter time ;o) How she could know that this is my favourite hand creme I have no idea, but now I have one to take with me ;o) Thank you so much, Chris! xx

Ich hab mich für ein Rentier-Thema entschieden und bin überwiegens bei weihnachtlichem Rot und Grün geblieben. Die Boxen sind fast alle unterschiedlich, weil ich sie dem jeweiligen Inhalt angepasst habe. Liebe Karolin, ich wünsche Dir viel Freude mit den Päckchen und ihrem Inhalt! I decided to go with a reindeer-theme and a traditional red and green colour scheme for my calender. The boxes are almost all different, because I made them the right size for the things I wanted to put in them ;o) Dear Karolin, I wish you a lot of fun with the little boxes - I had a lot of fun making them for you ;o) Have a wonderful first Advent Sunday and a fantastic time in December!!! FINALLY...here is another Happy Insta-Girl Blog Hop for you. As you could probably guess it is all about....Halloween. Just in case you wonder who the Happy Insta-girls are, we are a group of girls who met 'on' Instagram and thanks to Birka we organise regular blog hops, where we send each other cards and share them with you. Diese süße ... ähhh gruselige Karte habe ich von der supertalentierten  Anni von Annikarten bekommen. Wie ihr wisst, liebe ich ja Shakerkarten, süße Monsterchen und tolle Hintergründe. Das Highlight auf dem Schriftzug und das Spiel mit Licht und Schatten auf dieser Karte haben mich echt beeindruckt, weil es einfach supercool aussieht. Aber schaut selbst:


This very supercute ....eh spooky card arrived from Anni (Annikarten). As you all know I love shaker cards, sweet little monsters and great backgrounds. Highlighting the sentiment and playing with light in shadow in a very clever way impressed me a lot. I think it looks really cool, but see for yourself: 

Wenn man die Karte öffnet, findet man das Monsterchen noch einmal in seiner Originalfarbe :o) Das hat mich wirklich zum Grinsen gebracht und die Karte sogar noch "runder" gemacht. Liebe Anni, vielen, vielen Dank für diese geniale Karte! 

What a lovely suprise I found inside when I opened the card - the monster in original colours. It did make me smile and finished the card off. Dear Anni, thank you very, very much for this amazing card!

Dieses Mal durfte ich Wiebke von "Buntebastelecke" mit einer Karte überraschen. Ich weiß zufällig, dass sie interaktive, besondere Kartenformate total gerne mag und habe mich dazu entschieden ihr genau so eine Karte zu basteln. Das Design habe ich bei "Liebesfuchs" gesehen und wusste, dass ich das für Wiebke ausprobieren wollte. Das ist dabei herausgekommen:

This time I was able to surprise Wiebke from 'Buntebastelecke' with one of my cards. Just by chance I knew that she enjoys interactive and innovative card formats and so I decided to include exactly that in my card. The design I found on 'Liebesfuchs' and I knew instantly that this is what I wanted to try for Wiebke's card. This is the result:

Oben könnt ihr sehen, wie die Karte ausschaut, wenn man sie auseinander faltet und unten seht ihr, was Wiebke gesehen hat, als sie die Karte aus dem Umschlag genommen hat. Sich auf diesem Format auszutoben hat total viel Spaß gemacht und falls ihr auch so große Freude an solchen Spielereien habt, solltet ihr es auch auf jeden Fall mal ausprobieren :o)

In the upper part of the picture above you can see what it looks like when the card is unfolded and underneath is the look of what Wiebke saw, when she pulled it out of the envelope. I really enjoyed playing with this idea and in case you would like interactive cards as well, then why don't you give it a try?

Den Hintergrund habe ich mit Distress Inks in "Wilted Violet", "Spiced Marmelade" und "Wild Honey" gewischt und anschließend noch Sprenkel in ähnlichen Farben hinzugefügt. Die silberglänzenden Punkte habe ich mit einem Gemisch aus Wasser und Perfect Pearls in der Farbe Perfect Pearls gemacht.

The background is created with distress inks in 'wilted violet', ' spiced marmalade' and 'wild honey' by distressing the edges. Afterwards I added some flicks of paint of similar colours. The silver spots were created with a mixture of water and perfect pearls in the colour 'perfect pearls'.

Für den Gruß an Wiebke habe ich ein Quadrat mit Wellenrand ausgestanzt und den Rand mit "Wilted Violet" eingefärbt, damit es besser zum Rest der Karte passt. Auch hier musste natürlich noch mal eine kleine Spinne auftauchen... :o) Damit die Karte flach im Umschlag liegen konnte, habe ich ein Band aus Papier gestaltet, auf das ich dann auch direkt noch meinen Kartenspruch gestempelt habe :o)

To write a message for Wiebke I cut a scalloped square and coloured the edges with 'wilted violet' so that it would blend in with the rest of the card. Of course I had to add a little spider as a finishing touch. In order for the card to fit flat into the envelope, I cut a strip of paper to go around the outside and to finish it off, I added my own sentiments to it.

Mehr Freude, als ihr in euren Herzen tragen könnt, das wünsche ich euch ;o) Eine Giraffe hat übrigens eine Mega-Pumpe von etwa 12kg also fand ich, passte sie ausgesprochen gut zu diesem schönen Spruch. Für die aktuelle PINspirational Challenge gibt es nämlich dieses wundervolle Inspirationsbild:

More happiness than your heart can hold, that is what I wish everyone of you ;o) A giraffe's heart is 12 kilogramms in weight, so I thought this sentiment would match my image very well ;o) For the newest Pinspirational inspiration picture our lovely team leader Deanne chose this cute picture:

Zuerst habe ich die süße Giraffe aufgestempelt, coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Als nächstes habe ich den Hintergrund mit Distress Oxide Inks gewischt. Benutzt habe ich die Farben Fossilized Amber, Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers. Um ganz ehrlich zu sein, weiß ich nicht, ob ich die Oxides hasse oder liebe... Während ich an diesem Hintergrund gewerkelt habe, war ich sicher, dass das niemals etwas geben würde. Wenn ich mir aber jetzt die Karte anschaue, sehen die recht hellen Farben auf dem Kraft-Papier total klasse aus. Also werde ich sie erst mal weiter benutzen und euch meine Meinung sagen, falls und wenn ich mir eine "erarbeitet" habe ;o)

I started by stamping, colouring and fussy cutting the giraffe. Next I created the scalloped circle background with Distress Oxide Inks. I used the colours Fossilized Amber, Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers. To be quite honest with you, I am not yet sure weather I love or hat the Oxides... While I was working with them to create the background I thought it could never turn out nice, but looking at the card now after the ink dried I really like the effect of the bright colours on the kraft paper. So I will continue using them and tell you what I think once I made up my mind ;o)

Nachdem die Tinte trocken war, habe ich mit Jet Black Archival Inkdie Herzen und die beiden Sprüche gestempelt und anschließend alle Teile zusammengeklebt.
