There is a new challenge on the {PIN}spirational blog today and I think the inspiration is fabulous again this time ;o) I very much enjoyed making this card and colouring the cute digistamp from Bugaboo - our kind sponsor for this challenge!
Zuerst habe ich das niedliche dreiköpfige Monster angemalt und ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich mit dem Hintergrund weitergemacht. Dafür habe ich mit "Seedless Preserves" Distress Ink das Papier vollständig gefärbt und mit Farbspritzern aufgelockert. Dazu habe ich die weiß-glänzende Farbe vom Gansai Tambi Set und "Dusty Concord" benutzt.
First I coloured in the little three-headed monster and fussy cut it out. Then I started working on my background. First I used "Seedless Preserves" Distress Ink to get lots of colour down and added some splatters with the white metallic paint from the Gansai Tambi Set and also some darker splashes with "Dusty Concord".
Als der Hintergrund vollständig getrocknet war, habe ich mir den Stempel "Hypnotise" von Create a Smile geschnappt, mit Versamark gestempelt und fluoreszierendes Embossingpulver drüber gestreut. Diese Karte soll nämlich an jemanden gehen, der diese kleinen Spielereien sehr zu schätzen weiß ;o) So sieht es dann (ungefähr) aus, wenn man sie im Dunkeln sieht:
After the background had dried, I took the stamp called "Hypnotize" by Create a Smile, stamped it in Versamark and poured fluorescent embossing powder over it. The cute monster is scheduled to be mailed to someone who really appreciates these little gimmics ;o) This is what the card will (more or less) look like in the dark:
Neben den oben erwähnten Teilen habe ich noch ein Rechteck aus Transparentpapier und 2 Banner ausgestanzt, um meine Karte zusammenzustellen. Das Transparenzpapier hilft dabei, dass die dreiköpfige Kreatur nicht auf dem Hintergrund "verloren" geht und die Banner geben mir den Platz für meinen Kartenspruch.
Ich hoffe, ich konnte euch inspirieren und ihr macht mit bei dieser schön verrückten Challenge ;o)
In addition to the above mentioned pieces I had used a piece of vellum and two banners to assemble my card. The vellum helps to keep the three headed creature from getting lost on the background and the banners provided me with a place for my sentiment. I hope you got inspired and that you'll join us in this fun challenge ;o)
