Best fairies wishes

Hello all!
It is already time for another PINspirational Challenge and as Deanne wrote on the blog "it is a yummy one" ;o) This inspiration picture let's my mouth water and me longing for summer ;o)

I don't own any strawberry stamps or dies, so I let myself be inspired by the colour (pinkish red) and the fun sprinkles which can be found on my piece of background paper. The two cute fairies are from Purple Onion Designs and I love their sweet round faces ;o)

Happy Happy Happy Panda

Heya my dear crafty friends!
Today's card is my inspiration for the new "Texture" challenge at the Crafty Cardmakers. I added texture in lots of ways to this birthday card. Can you spot them?

An easy way to add texture to a card is an embossing folder I find. Because I wanted it to take it up a notch I used Nuvo Embellishment Mousse for the top background which adds a metallic look. Next I created the second background for the back using Distress Oxide Ink. Dripping wate on Distress Inks and drying it with a paper towel would have given some texture on that piece as well, but I decided against it because I wanted the window area to look crisp and clean - compared to the rest at least ;o)

Another way to add texture to a card is dimension, so I created three for this card. The third one being the balloon which I die cut from some "nuvo'ed" paper and added an extry layer of enamel dots. Birthday Card

Hallo zusammen!

Ich habe mir letztes Jahr auf dem Stempel-Mekka einige Stempel von "Cats on Appletrees" zugelegt, weil ich die Motive einfach super niedlich finde. Allerdings benutze ich nur sehr selten vollflächige Stempel und wusste nicht so recht, was ich damit machen sollte. Nachdem ich mich eine Weile mit den Stempeln beschäftigt habe, habe ich herausgefunden, dass ich ein recht grafisches Design in Kombination mit dem soliden schwarzen Abdruck wirklich klasse finde. Was meint ihr?

Last year I have purchased some stamps from "Cats on Appletrees" because I love their cute images. However, I do not often use solid stamps on my cards and therefore didn't really know what to do with them. After a bit of experimenting with them I found, that I like a rather graphic design in combination with a solid black impression. What do you think?

Als erstes habe ich das Wort "birthday" ausgestanzt und sowohl den Spruch, als auch die süße Katze gestempelt. Danach habe ich drei verschiedene Distress Inks auf ein Papier gewischt, um einen Ombre-Look zu erhalten und habe dieses hinter die ausgestanzten Buchstaben geklebt. Nun konnte ich auch die inneren Teile der Buchstaben aufkleben, was die Lesbarkeit des Wortes doch sehr erhöht ;o)

First I die cut the word "birthday" from a white panel and stamped the greeting as well as the cute cat around it. Next I blended three different Distress Inks together to achieve an ombre look and glued the piece behind the cut out letters. Now I could adhere the inner parts of the letters, which helped quite a bit with the legibility of the word ;o)

Den "Happy Birthday" Hintergrundstempel von MFT habe ich sowohl auf die Vorder- als auch auf die Rückseite der Kartenbasis gestempelt und dann das fertige Panel mit Abstandshaltern aufgeklebt. Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar Sequins hinzugefügt, um die Farbe des Wortes "birthday" noch einmal aufzugreifen.

I stamped the "Happy Birthday" background stamp both on the front and on the back of the card base and glued the panel down using foam tape. I added a few sequins to repeat the colours of the word birthday on the card and my card was done.

Habt ihr schon die süßen (noch fast) neuen Stempel von Neat & Tangled gesehen? Ich hab mich direkt in mehrere Sets verliebt und möchte euch heute die erste Karte mit dem "Itty Bitty Welcoming Committee" zeigen:

Have you seen the latest stamps from Neat & Tangled? I fell in love with quite a few sets to be honest and I would love to show you my first card with the "Itty Bitty Welcoming Committee" set:

Als erstes habe ich das Schaf und den Hasen gestempelt, mit Copics coloriert und mit einer Rahmenstanze von MFT ausgestanzt. Das selbe habe ich noch einmal mit weißem Papier gemacht, um die colorierte Szene einrahmen zu können.

First I stamped and coloured the main image of the set and die cut it with a Mft frame die. I cut the same shape from white paper again to get the white border around my coloured image.

Als nächstes habe ich ein gemustertes Papier auf die Größe der Kartenbasis geschnitten, das gut zu den beiden "Schalträgern" passt und dann die colorierte Szene mit Rahmen leicht schräg aufgeklebt. So sieht es hier irgendwie netter aus, find ich zumindest ;o) Nun musste noch ein weiterer Partygast her, weshalb ich dem Vogel einen Hut in Regenbogenfarben aufgestempelt und ihn auf das Banner gesetzt habe. Und weil es ja eine Geburtstagskarte ist und ich die Farben des Partyhuts noch einmal auftauchen lassen wollte, habe ich einige bunte Enamel-Dots auf der Karte verteilt.

Next I cut a piece of patterned paper to the same size as the card front and adhered the frame and the inside of the frame at a slight angle to give it more interest. Now I added the little birdie with the party hat, becasue I think it is sooo very cute ;o) And just because this is a birthday card I scattered a few enamel dots in different colours around as well.
