Good luck (Little goal-keeper)

Heute ist wieder Doppel-Dienstag, das heißt, ich teile jetzt eine Karte mit euch und später am Nachmittag habe ich dann noch einmal eine. Die Karte, die ihr hier schon seht, ist mein Inspirationsbeitrag für die aktuelle PINspirational Challenge und da dreht sich ab heute alles ums Thema "Fußball":

Heya my dear crafty friends!

Today is two-cards-tuesday which means that I am going to share one card with you now and the neyt one later tonight :o) The card you are seeing here already is my inspiration for the current PINspirational Challenge. From today on we would like to see your projects about football or maybe you would much rather be inspired by the beautiful colours of the picture? That's awesome, too ;o)

Meine Inspiration habe ich natürlich vom Thema Fußball genommen, aber auch die vielen Farben und die Kreisform wollte ich aufgreifen. Als ersten Schritt habe ich ein Papier für den  Hintergrund ausgestanzt, aus dem ich zusätzlich noch einen Kreis gestanzt habe und welches ich außerdem mit einem Muster geprägt habe, dass mich an das Netz im Tor erinnert hat. Danach habe ich einen runden Rahmen ausgestanzt, der etwas kleiner als die Öffnung ist und einen noch etwas kleineren Kreis, auf den ich ein Tor gestempelt habe und mit nicht nachge"ladenen" Blendingtools in den passenden Farben das Gras und den Himmel aufgewischt habe.

My inspiration came from the theme obviously but also from the circle form and the many different colours. My first step was to die cut a card panel, which I also die cut a circle from and dry embossed with a pattern that reminded me of the net in the goal. Next I die cut a circle frame that was slightly smaller than the opening, so that it would be able to move and another circle again smaller than the frame. On the latter I stamped a goal and added some grass and sky by simply going over it a few times with a (not re-inked) blending tool.

Auf den Kreisrahmen habe ich die acht verschieden farbigen Fußbälle aufgeklebt. Beim Zusammenbau der Karte habe ich bei der Hälfte der Bälle jeweils einen Kreis von hinten dagegengeklebt, so dass eine Art Führung entstand und die Bälle nicht nach vorne rausfallen konnten. Unter die anderen Bälle habe ich Abstandshalter von MFT geklebt, die für die richtige Höhe sorgen sollten. Bevor ich die Elemente aufkleben konnte, musste ich erst einmal einen Moment überlegen, damit sich die Bälle später auch drehen konnten und das Fußballtor auch am richtigen Platz war. Zum Schluss habe ich dann nur noch den niedlichen Torwart und den Spruch dazu geklebt und meine Karte war fertig ;o) Ich hoffe, sie gefällt euch. I adhered the eight footballs directly to the circle frame and then I started building my card. I had to think twice to make sure that the circle would be able to move, but it worked out just fine with the help of four circles glued behind the balls to stabilize them and also four Spin & Slide discs by MFT. After I had assembled everything I could add the cute little goal keeper and the sentiment as well. Smart Kitty With Glasses (GSD)

Hallo ihr lieben Kreativen ;o)

Ich freu mich, dass ihr vorbeischaut und hoffe, ihr hattet ein schönes Wochenende. Damit die Woche auch so richtig kreativ startet, habe ich heute eine neu Challenge der Crafty Cardmakers für euch. Das Thema lautet "Für einen Jungen / Für einen Mann" und das hier ist meine Karte zum Thema:

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have had a lovely and creative weekend and that maybe the new challenge by the Crafty Cardmakers will inspire you to keep on creating. The new theme is "For a Boy / For a Man" and this is the card I have made:

Diese süße Katze sollte mein Fokus werden, weil ich die einfach total niedlich finde. Diese riesengroße Brille ist ein wahrer Hingucker und dann noch dieser Blick dazu ;o) Nachdem ich alle Elemente, die ich brauchen würde (und noch ein paar mehr... hihi) vorbereitet hatte konnte es los gehen. Ich habe den Sternenrahmen einmal aus dickem Cardstock und einmal aus Kopierpapier ausgestanzt. Das Letztere habe ich als Maske für den Hintergrund benutzt, so dass das Muster wirklich nur innerhalb des "Kreises" zu sehen sein würde.

I wanted to use this cat as my focal point, because I think it is sooooo cute and fun. Those big glasses look just adorable on him, don't you think? After I had prepared all the images I would need (and some more... hehe) I die cut the star frame once from white cardstock and once from some thin paper I had sitting on my desk. The last was used to create a mask for the stencilling part, because I wanted to keep the colour completely inside the frame, but also fill it completely if you know what I mean.

Mit der Farbe "Tide Pool" von Hero Arts und meinem Stencil habe ich das Muster direkt auf die Kartenbasis gewischt und anschließend des Rahmen direkt darauf geklebt. Da der Rahmen fast rund ist, aber halt doch nicht ganz musste ich ihn ein wenig drehen und wenden bis ich ihn an der richtigen Stelle hatte, aber am Ende hat es geklappt und kein bisschen Darbe lugt irgendwo durch ;o)  Zuletzt habe ich dann noch die Katze nebst Maus, Vase und Bücherstapel aufgeklebt und den Spruch mittig unter den Rahmen gestempelt. Damit war meine Karte fertig und ich hoffe, sie gefällt euch genauso gut wie mir ;o) Habt eine wunderbare Woche und spielt doch  bei uns mit, wenn bei euch im Kartenvorrat auch immer ein Männerkartenmangel herrscht wie bei mir! I used "Tide Pool" ink by Hero Arts to create the pattern in the background and glued the frame directle to the card base making sure I had it placed correctly so that no colour would peek out ;o) Next I placed the coloured elements to the frame and stamped the greeting and my card was done. Blumengrüße zum Geburtstag

Auf PINspirational startet heute eine neue Challenge. Wie ihr vielleicht wisst, habe ich selten Blumen als Motiv für meine Karten, aber die von Create A Smile hatten es mir eh angetan und ich freue mich, dass ich sie jetzt auch endlich mal benutzt habe ;o) Dies hier ist übrigens das aktuelle Inspirationsbild:

Today starts a new challenge at the PINspirational blog. As you might know I don't often use flowers as my focal image, but these stamps from Create A Smile have been in my stash for a bit and I am glad I finally got the chance to use them. This is the current inspiration picture:

Zuerst habe ich den Hintergrund für die Blumen erstellt. Dazu habe ich hellgraue Farbe durch den tollen "Blasen"-Stencil aufgetragen. Als nächstes habe ich die Blumen platziert, die ich zuvor auf Bristol Smooth Aquarellpapier weiß embossed und mit den Winsor & Newton Watercolour Markern coloriert hatte. Zum Schluss habe ich den Spruch gestempelt. Weil das ja normalerweise vorher mehr Sinn gemacht hätte (ehem....) habe ich dieses Mal das MISTI gezückt und damit doch noch einen schönen Abdruck hinbekommen. Um dem Spruch etwas mehr Wumms zu geben (mir fällt gerade leider kein besserer Begriff ein) habe ich den letzten Teil auf schwarzen Cardstock in weiß embossed und mit Foamtape hochgestellt. Mir gefällt es so und was meint ihr? Ich hoffe, euch gefällt meine Karte und vielleicht habt ihr ja Lust bei unserer Challenge mitzumachen ;o) Habt eine tolle Woche und happy crafting, eure Maike

First I created the backdrop for the flowers. I sponged some grey ink directly on the card base using this fun irregular dot stencil. Then I added the flowers and leaves I had heat embossed on Bristol Smooth paper and coloured with Winsor & Newton Watercolour markers. Last I added the greeting. For the stamping I used the MISTI tool, to make sure I got a good impression. And to make the greeting a bit more interesting I heat embossed the last word in white on black cardstock. Bei den Crafty Cardmakers startet heute eine neue Challenge zum Thema "Alles mit Flügeln". Da gibt es wirklich viel Auswahl - mehr als man im ersten Moment denkt finde ich - und ich habe mich für eine kleine Fee entschieden:

We have a new challenge for you at the Crafty Cardmakers. This time it is all about "Things With Wings". There is lots to choose from - more than I thought at first - and I finally decided on using a cute little fairy:

Als erstes habe ich die Fronst für die Karte gestaltet: zuerst habe ich dazu das Rechteck und dann davon die ausgefranzten Kreise gestanzt. Ich mag den Look von diesen "Ripped Circles" und habe auch schon ein paar Ideen, wo sie vielleicht noch zum Einsatz kommen könnten ;o) Den Spruch habe ich mit "Tide Pool Ink" gestempelt und diese Farbe dann auch noch dazu genutzt, um den Rand ein wenig einzufärben, damit das Panel sich besser von der Kartenbasis abhebt.

First I die cut the panel and also die cut the circles from it. I like the "ripped" look and can see myself using them a lot ;o) I stamped the greeting in "Tide Pool Ink" and also coloured the edges of the panel to give it a bit of definition.

Als nächstes habe ich den Hintergrund für die Szene gestaltet. Die Wolken habe ich mit einem Stencil von Newtons Nook gemacht, sind die nicht niedlich? Unten am Hügel habe ich noch ein paar Blümchen gestempelt und in ihre Mitte einen Tropfen Nuvo Glitter Drops gegeben. Den Pilz habe ich dann auch noch dazugefügt, um ein wenig mehr Farbe auf die Karte zu bekommen. Bevor ich die mit Copics colorierte Fee aufgeklebt habe, habe ich das Panel noch mit Foamtape auf den Hintergrund und dann die Kartenbasis geklebt. Die Fee hat anschließend noch etwas Glitter auf ihre Flügel bekommen und weil es mir noch immer nicht glitterig genug war, habe ich außerdem noch einige klare und rosa Nuvo Glitter Drops aufgekleckst. Anfangs war ich mir nicht sicher, ob das nicht-schwarze Sentiment eine gute Idee war, aber ich glaube, das war es schon ;o) Ich hoffe, euch gefällt die Karte und ihr habt Lust bekommen bei den Crafty Cardmakers mit einer eurer Kreationen mitzuspielen. Next I created a background scene: a hill and some clouds in the sky as well as some flowers at the bottom. I added a dot of Nuvo Glitter Drops to the center of the flowers and placed a mushroom at the top of the hill for a bit of colour there. I put some foam tape on the back of the panel piece and placed it on top of the background. Lastly I added the fairy - which I had coloured with Copic markers - and scattered a few drops of clear and pink Nuvo Glitter Drops on the panel. It is very seldom that I go with a non-black sentiment, but this time I felt it would add to the soft feel of the card. Und weiter geht es mit noch mehr Inspiration für heute ;o) Dieses Mal für die PINspirational Challenge und dieses Inspirationsbild:

Heya my dear crafty friends!

Today I have a second card for you ;o) This one I created for the PINspirational Challenge and with this inspirational picture in mind:

Die Stempel, die ich benutzt habe, sind allesamt von Purple Onion Designs. Ich finde sie total niedlich, aber das Colorieren hat schon seine Zeit gedauert ;o) Daher habe ich das übrige Design eher schlicht gehalten.

All the stamps I have used for this card are from Purple Onion Designs. And I love the images very much, but the colouring did take quite a while for this one ;o) Because of all that is going on in the image I decided to keep the rest of the card rather clean.

 

Den weißen Rahmen um das Motiv habe ich einerseits gewählt, um das viele Blau ein wenig zu unterbrechen, andererseits ist so ein Rahmen aber auch eine perfekte Möglichkeit, um Vellum-Elemente unauffällig zu befestigen ;o)

I placed the white frame for two reasons. First I find it helps to draw the eye to the middle and also breaks up the blue from the card base. The second reason for me choosing the frame was, that it is always an easy method to adhere elements made from vellum, without showing the adhesive.

Ich habe diesen hübschen Blumenkranz von "Sparkle N Sprinkle" mit Copics coloriert und dann mit einem pink gestempelten Hintergrund und der süßen Katze von Mama Elephant kombiniert. Der Spruch ist aus einem Klartext-Set.

I used the pretty wreath image from our kind sponsor "Sparkle N Sprinkle" and paired it with a background I stamped in a light pink ink and this cute cat by Mama Elephant. The sentiment says "Get Better Soon" in German.

Waving Hello Shaker Card

Halli Hallo ihr Lieben!

Für die Crafty Cardmakers und das Thema "Kein Designpapier" habe ich folgende Karte gewerkelt: 

Heya my dear crafty friends!

I created this card for the Crafty Cardmakers and the new challenge theme "No Patterned Paper":

Zuerst habe ich die Hillside Cover Die ausgestanzt und diese mit Distress Oxide Inks und der Hilfe meiner wundervollen Stencil Brushes eingefärbt. Für den Grund habe ich Vintage Photo und für das Wasser Salty Ocean und Peacock Feathers benutzt. Als nächstes habe ich dann alle Unterwasserlebewesen mit Memento auf Copic freundliches Papier gestempelt und mit eben solchen dann coloriert. Die meisten von ihnen habe ich um das ebenfalls gestempelte Sentiment herum direkt aufgeklebt, nur eine Qualle und ein Büschel Seegras habe ich für später zur Seite gelegt.

I had started by die cutting the Hillside Cover die and did some ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks using Stencil Brushes to get a lighter result than if I had used the foam blending tool. For the ground I used Vintage Photo and for the water Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers. Next I stamped all images with Memento Ink and coloured them using Copic markers. I glued most the elements directly to the hill piece around the stamped sentiment, except for one jelly fish and a bit of sea grass.

Die beiden wollte ich nämlcih auf die Folie des Shakers kleben um noch etwas mehr Tiefe zu erzeugen. Dank des rechteckigen Rahmens war der Shakerteil leicht herzustellen. Zuerst habe ich eine zurechtgeschnittene Folie mit Scor Tape festgeklebt und dann doppelt gelegtes Foamtape komplett außen herum geklebt. In diese Vertiefung habe ich die Pailletten geschüttet und anschließend habe ich den Wasserhintergrund aufgeklebt - natürlich verkehrt herum, damit man ihn später durch die Folie sehen kann und nicht die etwas unansehnlichere Rückseite davon. Auf die habe ich ebenfalls großzügig Scor Tape geklebt und den Shaker so auf der Kartenbasis befestigt.

I wanted them to go on the front of my shaker to create even more dimension. The shaker was quick to make thanks to this rectangle frame to which I added a piece of acetate with very strong Score Tape and a double layer of foam adhesive. Next I added the shaker pieces, removed the protective foil from the adhesive and glued the water piece to it upside down. Using Score Tape again I then added that piece to my card front and also glued the two missing elements to the outside of the shaker.

 

Damit sollte meine Karte eigentlich fertig sein, aber das weiße Stück Papier, das ich innen heineingeklebt hatte, war mir irgendwie zu grell und zu langweilig gleichzeitig... Also habe ich den Tintenfisch noch einmal in lila gestempelt und für einen sanfteren Look mit Buntstiften coloriert. Mit dem Thema "Wasser" kann man echt viel anstellen finde ich und deshalb würde ich mich sehr freuen, wenn ihr nun auch Lust habt dazu etwas zu kreieren und mit uns zu teilen. My card could have been done at that point, but I felt, that the inside was too white against the purple so I decided to add another octopus to the inside. This one was coloured with coloured pencils to give it a softer look.
