You're the best (Rock and Roll Technique for big stamps)

Danke kann man meiner Meinung nach am besten mit Schokolade und / oder einer selbstgemachten Karte sagen. Da ich in der Pralinenherstellung nicht so gut bin, wie im Schokolade verputzen, habe ich mich dazu entschieden mit einer Karte "Danke" zu sagen.

Saying thank you is, in my opinion, best accompanied with chocolate and / or a handmade card. Because I am not really gifted when it comes to making truffels (eating them however is a different matter) I decided to make a card saying "Thank you". 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich den Stempel erst mit rosa Stempelfarbe bedeckt und dann an den Rändern noch einen dunkleren Ton hinzugefügt. Normalerweise verwische ich die Ränder zwischen den beiden Farben noch mit einem trockenen Tuch - dieses Mal habe ich mich aber bewusst dagegen entschieden und mag das Ergebnis wirklich gerne. 

Nachdem die Farbe getrocknet war, habe ich den Baum, die kleinen Herzen und den Spruch in "Dark Chocolate" gestempelt und außerdem noch ein rosa Herz hinzugefügt. Zum Schluss habe ich unter das Wort "best" noch Liquid Pearls in "Platinum Pearl" aufgetragen, um ihm noch mehr "Umpf" zu geben. 

In order to create the background I coloured my stamp with a light pink and then added a darker shade at the edges. Normally I would take a dry cloth to smooth out any harsh lines between the two colours, but this time I decided to leave it as is and really like the outcome. 

After the colour had dried I stamped the tree, the little hearts and the sentiment in "Dark Chocolate" and added just one heart in pink as well. To finish the panel of I added some liquid pearls in "Platinum Pearl" to emphasize the word "best".
