"hello" -card

Hallo zusammen!

Da ich die letzten Tage fleißig gebastelt habe, kann ich euch heute direkt noch eine weitere Karte zeigen. :o)

Hello there!

I have made a couple of cards in the last few days which is why I can show you another one today. :o)

Für die Karte habe ich das Papier von "Let's Polka" von Lawn Fawn benutzt und von jedem einen 3/4" Streifen verschiedener Länge abgeschnitten. Wie ihr sehr, habe ich für jeden Papierstreifen eine andere Form gewählt: Das Flaggenende und das schräg geschnittene ist einfach mit der Schere entstanden. Für das blaue und das grüne Papier habe ich eine Stanze benutzt. Dann habe ich das Wort "hello" aus dem grauen Papier der Kollektion und aus schwarzem Cardstock ausgeschnitten und alles "platt" auf die Karte geklebt. Nur das gelbe Fähnchen habe ich mit kleinen Gluedots ein wenig aufgestellt. Als letztes habe ich das rosa Herzchen ausgestanzt und über das "hello" an den äußeren Rand der bunten Streifen geklebt.

I used the "Let's Polka" paper from Lawn Fawn and cut it into 3/4" strips of various length. For the bottom part of these strips I took my scissors to cut the flag shape and the diagonal and two of my punches to create the other shapes. I die cut the word "hello" from the grey patterned paper and from some black cardstock and layered them both together to create a shadow effect. I glued everything right onto the card, except of the flags on the yellow piece which I propped up just a tiny bit with some small glue dots. In a final step I punched out the little heart from the pink dotted paper from the collection and placed it above the "hello" to the right.
