Blumiges Hallo

Up Your Life Design-Team gewerkelt:

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Finally spring found us here in Germany so I thought a flowery (?) "Hello" would be in order ;o) Incidentally (*grin) my card fits the newest theme at the Challenge Up Your Life blog which is "Petals":

Instead of having very colourful flowers I decided to have a lot of colour in the background and have the petals of the flowers in more neutral tones. So I sponged some Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar Distress Inks on a white piece of paper, added some splatters in pink and white and die cut this scalloped rectangle from it once it had all dried.

Next I worked on my flowers. I chose to go with the Copic markers E43, E41 and E40 for the petals and YG11 and YG03 for the leaves. After I had die cut them out I placed them on the card and glued them down. This may sound easy enough, but I think it took me around five minutes to find a placement I liked. Do you struggle with placing your elements on a card as much as I often do, too??? Well, lastly I added the sentiment to my panel and glued everything on a card base. Hope you like the card and that you will join us for our latest CUYL challenge ;o) Have a relaxing and fun weekend, yours Maike!
