Hello - A Bunch of (Waffle) Flowers

Halli Hallo!

Heya everybody!
You won't find any cute critters on my card today, but some very fun flowers. The stamp set I used is from Waffle flower and is made so that you can either stamp the online of a flower, the "filling" or use both together. When you look at my card you will see what I mean ;o)

I had masked off the wide stripe across the card to stamp my flowers and later added a thin strip of paper to the top and the bottom of that area. For my sentiment I chose a bold sentiment from one of my other WF sets and stamped it in black to match den strips of paper and the outline of the flowers. Love how it turned out!

To finish my card off I scattered a few Liquid Perls around the "hello" and also in the left over the flowers. This helps direct the eye over the card and also adds a bit of shimmer ;o) Speaking of shimmer, I had to add some Wink of Stella to the bigger blooms as well. Hey, it is a girly kind of card, isn't it? So I felt it needed shimmer ;o)

  1. I probably would have cut and stuck everything. Such a clever idea to mask things off. So much quicker and easier. Great card 😊

    1. Thanks a bunch, Sandra ;o) People seem to be very different! ;o) I'd rather mask everything off than cutting it out... I am lazy when it comes to fussy cutting or even die cutting - though I love it. Have a wonderful day!!!
